SUBTERFUGE side projects (which in actual fact translates to Clifford Ennis' side projects) include Jerusalem Syndrome, Ikon, Razorfade and Friends of Alice Ivy.

JERUSALEM SYNDROME 1996 / 1997

In 1996 Clifford Ennis teamed up with

Chris McCarter from IKON and they

released one album "The Book of Days"

on the German label Apollyon in 1997 

(later re-issued in 2011 as a 2CD set)

Played live once with Dino Molinaro

(also of Ikon) on bass.

IKON - 2004 / 2005

Clifford spent all of 2004 / 2005 as guitarist with IKON. This period saw numerous shows around Australia and two European tours.
Releases included "Psychic Vampire" EP & "Destroying the World to Save It" ALBUM

RAZORFADE 2009 - Present

RAZORFADE is a collaboration between Clifford Ennis and Mark Tansley (ex Suspiria).
This project ventures into a more electronic side but still has plenty of goth elements in abundance.
To date there have been two releases; "Liberation" EP from 2009 & "This Clear Shining" ALBUM from 2010.
​A second album has been recorded but is taking forever and a day to complete. It will hopefully finally get released in 2018.

IKON 2010 - 2017

Clifford re-joined IKON in 2010.
This period included a European tour culminating in Leipzig at Wave Gotik Treffen in 2011.

IKON also played in Australia during this time including supporting international acts such as HIM, Christian Death and Peter Murphy.
Ikon is continually releasing material and work on a new album is underway and may be released some time in 2018.

FRIENDS OF ALICE IVY - 2014

Kylie and Amps (formerly of Brisbane band OSTIA) kindly invited Clifford to play guitar on "The Aerial Mariners" the first track from their album "The Golden Cage and its Mirrored Maze".

 Played guitar live with them one time in Brisbane in August 2014.
